Home 593 | Landscape 1

This single-family residence is a two-storey building. The house is located on a particularly interesting site, residual from an urbanistic point of view in its position between a semi-peripheral inhabited area and the agricultural countryside south of the property. The initial concept, then developed in various project phases, sought to reinterpret the volume of an existing agricultural building of little testimonial value. This is achieved through a compositional scheme consisting of three main volumes, interconnected by overlapping surfaces, in which two basic colors are juxtapose with material surfaces in exposed reinforced concrete and Lapitech, an artificial stone. The house favors an optimal southern exposure according to the heliothermal axis and maintains a suggestive landscape setting with the trees behind the house on the agricultural margin of the lot and with the Monte Grappa massif in the background.
