Home 593 | Landscape 2

This home, designed for a young couple, responds to an interesting functional program that requested to combine an ample use of glass surfaces with an infiltration of greenery into the living space. These specifications have been solved with a new interpretation of the typical agricultural portico of the countryside of Treviso. The regular building morphology extended on the north-south axis is segmented by small internal patios that create visual glimpses and paths, linking interior and exterior within the constant presence of the filter of the agricultural landscape. The use of exposed bricks characteristic for the local building tradition is balanced in a dialogue with soft colors, pure forms and material elements used for the design of the outdoor spaces.
