The project aims to obtain an architectural result that combines tradition and modernity. The house is divided into two sections, night and day, with a particular focus on the living area which is located below the walkway level and has a large corner window overlooking the courtyard. Internal courtyards create a connection between the inside and the outside, increasing ventilation and brightness.

The design of this single-family residence develops starting from the needs of a client who specifically intends to obtain as a final architectural result an artifact typologically rooted in the traditional image of the peasant residence typical of the reference area, revisited according to a contemporary morphological language both in terms of proportions and in the detailed solutions.

The single-storey building is characterized by a clear division between the sleeping area and the day-services area, a detachment underlined by the shift along the central axis of the two rectangular blocks into which the house can be broken down. The sleeping area, served by a longitudinal corridor, is characterized by the presence of 2 single bedrooms, 1 shared bathroom, 1 master bedroom with private bathroom and walk-in closet. The living area, with a barycentric entrance, is made up of 1 laundry-CT and 1 study in the northern portion of the building, while to the south there is the service toilet, the cooking-dining area and the living room.
Particular interest was reserved for the study of the living area, located two risers below the level of the walkway of the rest of the building, with respect to the dining area and characterized by the presence of a significant vertical corner glazed area facing the external paved courtyard, where there is a fixed seating system made of concrete. The reference of this as simple functional device in exposed concrete lies in the ancient agricultural element of the "sentaro" present in every peasant house, made with waste bricks and stones, often placed under trees between the main building and in front barnyard.
As for the garage, a double covered parking space will be created within the volume of the building shifted to the north. The layout of the building is also characterized by the presence of small recessed courtyards, with the aim of relating the internal spaces to the outside by increasing ventilation and brightness.
