This private house is the result of the radical renovation of an ancient rural building, typical of the Treviso countryside. The seat and overall volumes has been preserved as well asthe architectural proportions. The composition of interior spaces is more radical, in order to combine a traditional taste with contemporary elements and solutions.
Exposed beams, traditional plasters, and bleached wooden frames dialogue with burnished metal carpentry around the central body that draws the open space inside, or by a scale-systemfireplace-sitting, in which functional and material elements merge into an element that generates around itself the kitchen space, the living room and opens to the entrance area. The large porch, opened to the south, gives natural light to all the interiors all year long and relates to the front garden recreating a balance son of the traditional farmyard.
